Tynllwyn is a large modernised Farmhouse dated 1861 on a working beef and sheep farm and guests are welcome on the farm all year round. The farm is approached up a long private drive a mile out of Welshpool with beautiful views of the Severn Valley and Long Mountain. Welshpool is a country market town in Mid Wales and we are ideal for lovely walks along Glyndwr's Way and Offa's Dyke.

A very warm welcome awaits you at this Majestic Farm House Accommodation once the principle farm house of Powis Castle. Now privately owned but still farming sheep, beef and pheasant shoot. It has a wealth of character, including exposed beams and log-burning fires and has been carefully renovated to provide very good quality spacious accommodation. It is set between the Montgomery Canal and the River Severn and the backdrop is the glorious Rhallt woods.

All the rooms have central heating and have been furnished with new pine furniture, radio alarm clocks and comfortable chairs, 2 of the en-suite bedrooms are on the ground floor. The dining room is in the original farmhouse and is beamed with a log burner for the cooler months. Guests are welcome to use the gardens which afford splendid views. A large farmhouse breakfast is assured using local produce and when possible our own eggs. A good selection of local pubs are within easy walking or driving distance for evening meals.
