Shellachan is an isolated cottage at the western end of Loch Scammadale 12 miles south of Oban, some 2 miles off the main A816 road. The approach is by a single-track tarmac road, 1 mile south of Kilninver. The glen is devoted to farming and the surrounding scenery is magnificent. The cottage is simply furnished  and is warm and welcoming.
